What Does The Federal Reserve Do?

1. Prints our money for a fee .
( Example: you need $100 we will print it for you, but give us $5 for that). |

2. Lends us the money we paid them to print.
So we come to pick up printed $100 bill... Federal Reserve says : " Oh we will loan you this $100". You :" Why? I just paid $5 tax payers money to print it". FR : " Because I am naughty Federal Reserve and I am hungry for taxpayers money". :) |

3. Charges us interest on loaned federal reserve notes (dollars).
Oh, so we payed $5 for a $100 bill plus we take a loan and now interest...Hm... |
