Eyes Relax Software - I have tried about 4 different eye programs - this one is the best. Download, install and schedule long and short breaks. I specify duration of the break : the program can display a small dialogue box that tells me to look at distant object or I can set up just the black screen and the break duration. I usually go to the window and look at the furthest point possible and then at the dot on the window - stretching the eyes.

Bates Quotes -  is an application that sits in the system tray, and at user specified intervals, pops up quotes from Dr. William Bates. Many people find that it helps to be continually reminded about the things that Bates was saying - and that their understanding of the method can suddenly evolve when they are repeated a certain passage of the text.  Pinhole Glasses (exercises the muscles in the eyes) - this is effective solution for vision disorders. Since the 5th century B.C. the ancient Chinese people discovered that light passing through a tiny pinhole makes an image on the background it falls upon.  At the very least pinhole glasses can be a bridge to spend time without glasses if you are improving your eyesight. 
Impress your friends! Kids will tell you you look like a fly :)  You can buy it here (Herbspro) but it is cheap quality ( feels like 0.20 cent item :)  I would buy one on Amazon (better quality).

What type of lights are best for the eyes ?  Dr. John Ott, founder and inventor of OttLite lighting, researched alternatives to unhealthy artificial lighting and the affects different wavelengths of light have on health.  It’s like natural daylight indoors. Choose Full Spectrum lamps. Just because it says natural lamp it does not mean that it is full spectrum.
