Opt-out with Royal Mail ( firstname.lastname@example.org)
Stop receiving door-to-door items by contacting Royal Mail directly via email. They will then send an opt-out form to your address, which you must sign and return. They do this for security reasons - to verify that those resident at the address have requested the ‘opt out’. Once you’ve returned this form, Royal Mail will stop delivering unaddressed items to your address within 6 weeks.
The opt-out will last for a period of two years from the date that they receive your opt-out form. If you wish to continue your opt-out after the two-year period you can do so by contacting them via email at email@example.com or via telephone on 01865 796964
Stop Any Organization sending you unwanted mail
If you receive marketing that is addressed to you, the Data Protection Act gives you the right to tell an organisation to stop sending it to you. You should write to them by letter or email to tell them to stop using your personal information to send you marketing. When they receive your request they must stop marketing you as soon as they can.

Please note that if you do not comply with this notice, I can apply to the court for an order against you under the Data Protection Act.
