four months for the service to have full effect, though you should notice a reduction

2. Register with the Baby Mailing Preference Service.
Reduce the number of baby-related mailings you receive.
You may register with Baby MPS either for yourself, a family member,
or a friend who asked you to act on his or her behalf.
3. The Bereavement Register
Aims to reduce the amount of mail send to the deceased by ensuring that
the names of people who have died are removed from databases and mailing lists.
4. Opt-out with Royal Mail
Stop receiving door-to-door items by contacting Royal Mail directly.
