I was always fascinated with the desire of a central unit to control diseases for all Americans.  When CDC changed it's name in 1992 the Congress also specified that the agency should continue to be recognized by the acronym "CDC." ("prevention" word was added)

I think CDC have a done a remarkable job in controlling diseases in USA.

 FDA fought very hard with Dr. Burzynski - medical doctor and Ph.D biochemist named Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski who happen to cure cancer patients with alternative medicines NOT APPROVED by FDA . ( of course not approved - why would they approve something that will not produce income?).  Cancer patient = Treatment = Money !!! 

I have a vision : FDA spokesmen says that " FDA just approved apricot kernels in treating cancer. All you need to do is eat 20 apricot kernels a day and your cancer will go away." :)  It's a joke of course :) 

I started thinking about CDC's role in our lives right after Swine Flu Propaganda finished. While Big Pharma was calculating profits from swine flu scaremongering, CDC was getting ready for Zombie apocalypses (CDC article).
  

      

    

I can assume that CDC does not think highly of an "average Joe" because majority of people are like zombies nowadays. 
So CDC decided to prepare Zombie Americans for Zombie apocalypses :)

My favorite part of a an emergency plan by CDC is # 4 on their list:
 " Plan your evacuation route. When zombies are hungry they won’t stop until they get food (i.e., brains), which means you need to get out of town fast! Plan where you would go and multiple routes you would take ahead of time so that the flesh eaters don’t have a chance! This is also helpful when natural disasters strike and you have to take shelter fast".  If zombies did start roaming the streets, CDC would conduct an investigation much like any other disease outbreak..." 

One of the strange pages on CDC's website is "Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and Vaccines".  
From 2 to 4 months old, babies begin their primary course of vaccinations. This is also the peak age for sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). The timing of these two events has led some people to believe they might be related ( you decide )  However, studies have concluded that vaccinations are not a risk factor for SIDS."   Studies financed by vaccine manufacturers  concluded that vaccines produced by same manufacturers are not at risk factor. OK.

For those of you who are lining up to get your  flue 2011-2012 vaccines , here is an explanation of what flu is.

FLU is VIRUS so while vaccine manufacturers can try to hope what virus will be here this year, bare in mind that vaccines are largely ineffective against flu because virus mutates all the time.

To prevent flu natural way you may want to limit: meat and sugar. Have plenty of sleep, eat organic vegetables - more garlic. Garlic destroys viruses and bacteria without harmful side effects. Unlike drugs that destroy only specific types of viruses and bacteria, garlic destroys a broad-spectrum of them.

Flu shot is largely ineffective, it contains chemicals and supporting huge corporations like Merck. By the way the former head of the CDC (2002-2009), Julie Gerberding - who was also one of the top disease mongers pushing vaccines over the last few years - now works for Merck - the largest drug company in the world. 

And what is her job? She is the president of the global vaccine division for Merck. $5 billion vaccine division sells cervical cancer vaccines, chickenpox and of course your favourite H1N1 swine flu vaccine. 
Here they teach doctors on how to brainwash you into accepting vaccination. After all, it's business. 

At the end of the day, just remember it is Centre for Disease Control not Centre for Disease Cure.
