15 Tips For Raw Food Diet
1. Keep it to yourself.
If you just starting experimenting we would recommend not to share this with everyone as people don't like generally when someone does something different. Let the people see your results and later wonder what is the source of your energy, optimism and strength. So, basically try not to advertise too much :)
2. Think ahead of the time.
If you have some invitations politely decline, try not to plan anything that can disrupt your experiment. After all , you do not want to end up in situation where you are offered to eat in somebody's house cooked food.
3. Keep the Diary.
Write down everything. Keep a pen next to you so you can record any unusual thoughts, feelings and your emotional changes, cravings etc.
4. Listen to yourself.
We put various fresh produce on the table and eat whatever we want. I would take with me various things and later scan it with my intuition and see what my body desires. For instance I ate a lot of apples and nuts in the first three days. Later I did not want them anymore. Your body is smart it will guide you.
5. Pain is Good.
Pain is normal during raw food diet. Basically it takes 30 minutes for your body to digest fresh apple and about 4 hours to digest cooked apple. Once you start eating alive foods, the body is easily digests them and is using it's "saved resources" from digesting "heavy cooked meals" to do "house cleaning". You clean your house once a week. When the last time have you cleaned your body? Once it digested the food the healing mechanism turns on - the body will take out heavy metals, stored toxins etc.
6. Understanding the process.
You may have headaches, kidney and liver pain, constant bathroom urges. Once you go to hug with your white brother in the toilet - do not worry that too much staff is coming out of you. Raw Food is like a broom that will clean internal system. You will have bad breath (result of your polluted body - it went away on the third day in my case), running nose ( lungs are clearing up ) . You may experience overall weakness - this is GOOD. You are cleansing, so be patient. Do not stop, unless you really feel bad then include some light cooked foods like oatmeal.
7. Expectations.
You will not get healed from everything right away. After all, how many years have you been putting various things in your body? So don't expect quick results. Be realistic. "A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step."
8. Do not change your diet abruptly to Raw Food.
It will be a shock to your body. Try to incorporate more fruits and vegetables to your daily meals up to 80% and later switch - you will have a smoother transition. 9. Mental preparation.
You will not die without meat on Raw Food Diet. Check this video out if you have not done so already - how successfully body-builders are alive on 100% Raw Food. In the same video you will watch 109 year old man alive on Raw Food - this proves that you will not die prematurely. However, if you are to switch to a 100 % Raw Food - you are to do a lot of research and understand what it is - which nuts you need, other super foods and important vitamins. 10. Positive thinking.
Because of the detox crisis you want to quit in the middle - such thoughts will be there - you are to concentrate and remember the reasons WHY you are doing this. So, if you have pain in the knee - a.) it is pain so it is bad. Don't forget about b.) your joints are cleansing - repair process.
11. The earlier you switch is better for you.
After couple of successful raw food trials you will probably think about switching completely or almost completely to Raw Food. It is good to have more fruits and vegetables in your diet. Why to wait for a cancer to come. Cancer does not survive in alkaline body. Raw Food is alkaline diet.
Our regular diets are acid diets so our blood becomes more acidic. In acidic body - cancer thrives. Go figure why we have all this multi billion dollar industry that suppose to research cancer. Your body will cleanse faster and by exercising you will speed up the detox process. Even if you feel weak for the couple of days still take a walk in the park on fresh air - do not use health clubs - recycled air will not help - you DO need fresh air, not dead air.

Remember the words are magical. At the beginning it was a word........... Sometimes we don't pay attention to things - like with Fedex logo - it's there but you never noticed. Have you wondered why certain medical facilities have such names as "Pain Management centres? " Simple - because they are here to manage pain . It is not a healing facility - it is a pain management facility.
15. Educate yourself.
Visit forums of Raw Food community where they share their results, fears , assist beginners. Google Raw Food Diet and check for yourself. Empower yourself with results. Study how raw diet influences your body and embrace positive changes.
