3. Exercise It is important to have plenty of exercises since you have to assist the body in detoxing. Working out helped me to ease the feeling of hunger. Running in the park worked very well in my case. Plenty of fresh air is important. Stay away from exercising in the gym since the air is recycled there. Your body needs deep breathing with regular fresh air intake. The park is ideal place for it. 4. Sunshine Plenty of sunshine is a must. I have noticed that while fasting I would get cravings for sunlight. So, make sure you spend some time on the open sun. It will boost your energy level and calm you down. Overall, researches are stating that sunlight is crucial to our health. At least 30 minutes a day is a must for a person to be spend in sunlight. 5. Practice Meditation Mediation is a good tool that can greatly assist you in fasting. I would do it in the morning and at night, right before bed. I would close the eyes and listen to the music. Simple 5 minute session would fill my day with tranquility and joy. Here is how to do it. Find the videos on You Tube with music that you like. Google “You Tube converter from video to mp3”. Download and install it. Copy the link of the video from You Tube and paste it into converter. After the conversion will finish you will have an mp3 file ready to be burn on the CD and played in your CD player. 6. Shower, Bath and Sonar Since fasting is accompanied with extensive detoxification we need to help the body to get rid of unnecessary substances. Generally, I would take a shower 2-3 times a day depending on the itching. Bath is recommended because your body can relax. You can add sea salt to speed up the cleansing process. Sonar is a must at least twice during fasting week. 7. Plenty of Liquids Drinking plenty of water is important. I used diluted orange juice in my fasting as well. Water will cleanse your body and push the waste out of your system. 8. Keep Daily Log Create a diary to record observations. You can also start a blog to share your experience. Recording your feelings could be beneficial for you to go back and see the state of mind during fasting. I was reading my blog another day and decided to do fasting again. I forgot already the way I felt and definitely want to come back to that state of mind. 9. Use Your Time Wisely While fasting you will discover new energies that are flowing through you body. This will happen on the fourth or fifth day. Use your time wisely and devote it to solving the problem that you could not cope with for awhile. You will be surprised how clear your mind is and the speed of thought is very high. So try not wasting this time. After all, when is the next time you will be fasting for 7 days? 10. Exit Strategy It is important to exit from fasting correct way. You can harm yourself by eating meat or eggs. Your first meal should be light and preferably lettuce or other green veggies. This will help your stomach "to wake up" after a "sleeping" period. Eat slowly and enjoy every bite of the lettuce – this is first food you will have in 7 days. Also, make sure not to eat too much.
